Seattle Seahawks center Connor Williams, 27, retires from NFL

The Seattle Seahawks will have to find the replacement for the starters from the side of the offensive line after the starting center, Connor Williams announced his retirement, as Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald said.

Williams, 27, was in the middle of his seventh NFL season and his first with Seattle Seahawks. He began all nine of Seattle’s games and was under centre for all 618 of the team’s offensive snaps in 2024.

The remaining $510000 was tagged as ‘Per-game bonuses’ or $30,000 per game, as reported by ESPN’s Brady Henderson.

Oluwatimi was a fifth-round selection for the Seahawks in the previous year. In total, he has participated in 20 matches in his career and entered the game with a position of center only once in 2023. The second-year pro has spent the entire 2024 season in Seattle and played in four games as a reserve as a tight end and on special teams The young player had four offensive snaps and a total of 15 snaps on special teams.

Sundell was not selected in this year’s draft and signed by Seattle as a free agent. Having been created by North Dakota State, the rookie has featured in four games for the Seahawks this year. He’s participated in one play on the offense and 27 on the special teams.
