Kevin Sheehan’s Smell Test picks for NFL Week 11, college football

They told it was impossible. They told us that was not going to happen. They claimed the Smell Test days were now over, and that Kevin had well and truly lost it. They were wrong. A good week last time out, the third consecutive time and a season average of better than.500. Nine more picks for this week to continue that kind of magic.

WHAT IS THE FOOTBALL “SMELL TEST” OF KEVIN?

It is a counter-phpilosophy approach to handicapping. I focus on those games where the public has made their minds up on a game’s point spread or a game total and I do the opposite. There is more to it than that but in general that’s how one realizes over a long period of time in Las Vegas one day and out casino gaming that the house does win more than it loses and house advantage comes from more than the vig fee.

Well this is the 19th year of the Smell Test on radio and/or a podcast. I’ve been right: 13 successful / 5 unsuccessful.
